Ephesian Beacon
The Ephesian Beacon is a massive lighthouse located on tip of the peninsula that forms the boundary between the Varilean Bay and the Eastern Ocean. The Beacon is only a short walk away from the Hobétotho Estate.
The Beacon is owned and operated by House Hobétotho of Umbar, with its primary keeper being the house's Patriarch, who is currently Lord Khonsu Hobétotho.
Purpose / Function
The Beacon guides ships to and through the Varilean Bay's narrow opening as they make their ways to the city of Umbar. The cities located on the northern and southern edges of the River Thiaro's delta--Forlond and Harlond respectively--also rely heavily on the Beacon, as they both have their own heavily maritime economies.
