Halflings

Halflings are actually something of a rarity on Kalin. They only exist in small enclaves throughout the land, and often those Enclaves are in The Dwarven Confederacy. Originating from a land the Halflings simply refer to as "Áit Chónaithe" which literally translates to "dwelling," making it unclear whether that's the actual name of their homeland or they're just having a joke at everyone's expense.
Due to their extremely low numbers Halflings have had a limited influence on Kalin's history, with one notable exception in Mundoli Musoon, who is responsible for the creation of Technomancy.
Halfling's are true to their given name by being "half" a Human, meaning they're short. They actually call themselves "Daoine an Domhain" or roughly "People of the World." However, no one would call them that in Kalin so they've just kind of gotten used to being called Halflings.
