Ancient Vizar Empire

The Ancient Vizar empire holds much power over what happens today in Kaldra. This ancient order once brought peace and prosperity to the world and their glorious reign helped develop most of the cultures of the world. What is known is that their technology was so incredibly advanced that it is the basis for all of the modern advancements in technology.
Historians and Scholars disagree about their laws and customs, however many people believe that the closest related culturally is the people of the Realm of Khufu.

Structure

Historians believe that the Ancient Kaldran Empire was made up of several providances and each had their prospective ruler. This is where many of the kingdoms of Kaldra get their "authority" or "right to rule", and all of them say they can trace their lineage back to the days of the Empire, but proof is usually lacking...
Scholars disagree on how the Kaldran Empire was structured, what titles were given, and what authority each ruler had exactly, but the reigning theory is that the Ancient Kaldrans had many different walks of life represented and seemed to rule in benevolence.

Culture

The core beliefs of the Ancient Kaldran Empire is well known throughout Kaldra - whether it has seeped into religion or descended into legend.

3. Honor those of esteem
4. The worthy shall be rewarded
5. The unworthy shall be punished

Although this takes many forms all over Kaldra, this is the mandate of the Ancient Empire, translated as best as possible from the old language. Some cultures use this as a guide for their government, others use it as one of morality, still others think of it religiously. No matter how it is viewed, it is fairly well-known throughout the world.

Disbandment

A empire spanning all of Kaldra suddenly disappearing is cause for alarm. Not much is known about how they disappeared or why, but it is clear that it left a massive vacuum that engulfed the entire world, descending it into years of confusion, strife, and general mayhem.
