Forest Trollkar

Forest Trollkar are a Trollkar subgroup found in the many deep forests and woodlands in Kalarda.  Unlike their cousins, Forest Trollkar are significantly bulkier and stronger. Because of this, they are sometimes mistaken for common trolls which has lead to more then one misunderstanding. This size and strength However makes them excellent warriors and feared mercenaries; the last thing many a soldier has seen is a berserking Forest Trollkar rushing their position.

While Forest trollkar had to potential to live 250 or so years; many only made it to around 80-90 years due to warring tribes and environmental pressures

Forest Trollkar excelled in Temperate climates and were most often found in the forested regions of these biomes.

like all trollkar they have long ears, and tusks which can vary from only a few inches in length to a foot long. male tusks tend to be significantly larger than female tusks.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

while Trollkar of all kinds can be found throughout Kalarda; you can find the largest distribution of Forest trollkar and their many tribes in Shoula in the greenwood timberland.

No Forest trollkar empire or kingdom exist today but scholars have studied ancient ruins left in the Greenwood Timberland that would point to a possible Forest trollkar empire existing long ago.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Forest Trollkar almost always had Green skin in various shades due to a mutation that took place many millennia ago, the forest trollkar' bodies can support plant life to a limited extent. A thin layer of moss inevitably grows on the skin of forest trollkar shortly after they are born and gives them their characteristic green coloring.
