Teredea
We were a numerous people, once. With forests as thick as Valax's Cauldron but without the harrowing beasts that haunt them, I grew up being told delightful stories of our homeland before The Descent. While we can't bring back all who were lost from that cataclysm, we can honor them by keeping our traditions alive. -Chancellor Hileya JaxTechnically a part of the Commonwealth, Teredea is still quite independent compared to Northern or Southern Emyr.
Geography
Riddled with shifting crags, deep canyons, and wind-blasted badlands, Teredea is a wasteland by some standards. Formerly an incredibly lush and dense forest, Teredea was a cradle of life and resources until it was leveled during The Descent. The fateful place of that conflict is scarred permanently not only across the region as a whole, but in the massive crater surrounding Calmyria.
Fauna & Flora
Many game beasts, birds, plants, and various other types of life once thrived in Teredea. It was formerly the largest forest in all of Kal'Araan. Since its destruction, Teredea is mostly home to scavenger beasts and insects that survive on the little there is to offer in the badlands.
As for humanoids, there surprisingly exist a good many settlements in Teredea, considering its desolation. Most notably the city of Calmyria sits in the center of the region, home to a strange mix of cultures and populations.
Natural Resources
Even in its desolate state, Teredea is still home to many natural resources. Dragonwood is still harvested from the many felled forests in the region, while the chasms opened up from The Descent revealed a many number of ores and minerals for the taking.
