Ruined Hamlet of Heior

This small settlement has been burnt down during the winter.Primarily a hunting camp for those that wish to enjoy the wilderness and the company of animals over man.There are signs of desecration as the shrines to Theylene have been excessively plundered and destroyed.   Originally there were around 40 men woman and children here.Mostly Firbolg but elves and humans were known to live here. The trails to finf the village are hard to see.It was a self sufficient place, in touch with the surrounding lands.   The Albino Gnoll Known as Grishnak lead the raid.

Government

Anarchic, people here were allowed to do as they please with few rules.  
  1. no violence/theft towards another Heiroean
  2. no damage that is unsustainable to the land or to Heior
  3. a portion of each hunt get divided between the people

Industry & Trade

Hunters mainly and some fishermen along the South Fallow river. A trade with Nodwichs rest was the only contact these people had with the outside world.There they would bring furs and meat to trade for items that were hard to  come by.

Infrastructure

before it was destroyed they had a small forge and leather working shop.

History

The Firbolg clan of hunter gatherers called "Gwaith -o i lain dór" found this small valley along the South fallow river in the depths of the Elmast woods back in 157 AN. A strategic spot for the reclusive Folk.Here they thrived in a small community over the years, living close with nature.   Over the years a few hardy folk found their way to Heior either on there own randomly,they were lost and the clan took them in or in one case simply appeared one day.

Geography

deep in the Elmast woods in the shadow of the Fallow hills.

Natural Resources

The south Fallow river runs right through the village providing it a source of fishing and fresh water.While the nearby woods provide all the plants and game one would need.
