Disturber of Rest
A Troll who ravaged the west during the Deeper Darkness
It stands 4m high and presents itself as a gaunt figure robed in a hooded garment of the utter blackness. It's face is the skull of a great carrion bird, its arms are pale and bony with long clutching fingers. It wields a staff taller than itself, the striking of which against the ground unleashes its powers.
It has the gifts of instilling terror in its foes as do all Trolls, but it also can cast a pall of despair and paranoia over those it faces, robbing them of their self-belief, inducing them to suspect their fellows of hating or disdaining them. When provided with the bodies of those who have died in torment, Disturber of Rest can cast its foul gravedust over them which blisters the corpses with black growths... and the dead will rise again as shambling bestial things driven on the by the Troll's will, and each shrieking aloud over and over again the last despairing words they spoke in life.
