Clear Skies

The Clear Skies movement began as a group of pro-Caervil patriots who objected to the primacy of Malmor influence in the southern reaches of Kaevil following the events of 1051.

Structure

The figurehead of the Clear Skies movement is Keffyl a former infantryman of the Caervil military who was injured during the siege of Woodsend and the Battle of the Boulders.  A spearthrust tore the muscles of his left thigh and broke his femur leaving him lame and requiring a stick to walk with.   He had also suffered considerable trauma after seeing three Malmor-affiliated sorceresses unleash dark powers to shatter the walls of the city.   A gifted poet (though his pre-war works were simple and shallow affairs) he discovered a talent for conveying his ideas and ideals in verse which gained him a considerable following.

Other key members are Harran a younger son of a family of minor land-holding nobles west of Novryk with a naval background, and Enrys a sharp-minded and astute man with no military background (he is the son of a sailor however).
