Melissa

Melissai are nymphs of honey bees. They are related to tree and woodland nymphs, but have a specialization all their own. They live near hives at the intersection of forests and meadows. Melissai have thick eyebrows and yellow/black streaks in both eyebrows and hair.
Insect speech. Melissai may converse with insects as if using a Speak with Animals spell.   Swarm. As an action, you can summon a swarm of bees. The swarm is under your control, and acts on your initiative, but becomes active only on the following turn. The swarm has the statistics of a regular insect swarm, but gains an extra 2d8 HP, an extra 2d4 damage/attack, and +1 to AC for every point of proficiency bonus you have above +2. You may use a bonus action to dismiss the swarm. Once you have used this feature, you cannot do it again until you have finished a long rest. If when dismissed, the swarm has more than half of its HP, it will leave enough honey to feed one medium-sized person for a day for each point of proficiency bonus the Melissa possesses.
