Fairmouth (ˈFayr-Muth)

The port city of Fairmouth is the seat of the county of Barcombe and home to Count Ondor Longrun. Before 1561 NE, it was also the ducal seat of Chiador, before Duke Vau Treeheart relocated it to the town of Torrine. This did not reflect well on the city, and angered many people.
Located opposite the city of Pavorno in Galieri, Fairmouth has had trouble holding its own as a port, due to the popularity and reputation of the other city. The city council has levied high taxes on luxury goods coming across the Double Jubilee Bridge from Pavorno, in an attempt to discourage local citizens from visiting the decadent city.
