Word begins to spread of our hero's deeds within the sewers. And as they are awaiting the Slayer who is to take them to the Intiation Trials, they approached by noble with a lucrative offer.
He state that his son, who often hunts in the Bramble Woods, has yet to return for some time. While the noble hopes his son is alive, he is well aware of the forests dangers and that he is much more likely dead. He explains that while he doesn't expect them to return his son alive, he would like them to deliver the severed head of whatever beast had killed his son. In exchange, he is not only willing to pay for their and their escorts transport, will even pay for their entry into the exam, and offers each of them a hefty sum of coins.
