Ise’kpaag War

An exact date is unknown for the Kre did not date their events. Roughly, historians, with the help of Kre who remember the war, place it between -300 and -200 The Beginning. They describe it as a fairly primitive war that was fought more due to ignorance than anything else. Ise’kpaag War1 was the first recorded war of history. The war was between the three Kre species: the Kren, Kreol, and Kreani.   The war was ended due to divine intervention.

The Conflict

Prelude

Little is known about the war as a whole, even less about how the war started. Most Kre state that it started due to ignorance, detailing that each species had an overwhelming amount of pride for their patron god. One Kre states that the Kren began it, stating that they had been around far longer than their sister tribes and thus were the true chosen ones. This angered the others, and from there, war.

The Engagement

Comparing it to modern war, the war was highly unorganized as the fighting was more of an 'attack on sight' strategy between all three factions. There was no real leader, and though there were multiple voices of reason, they were largely overlooked. This led to an incessant amount of bloodshed that only ended because of divine intervention.

Aftermath

Fearing that the bloodshed would never end, Sun and Moon both intervened to put an end to the fighting. Details here vary on who is asked, but it can be gathered that they threatened all three factions into ceasing, and they did. Seeing that the war took place purely because of pride, it took little but reassurance from the gods they bowed their head to cause them to stop.   Though the war's effects lingered, the three races harboring ill-will towards one another, it soon passed, and the three races set up trade agreements and ended on neutral terms with one another.
1Roughly translates to 'The Blessed Chosen.' The translation is harsh as kpaag means "blessed" and Ise, though not a word on it's own, begins the start of Iseuzai which means "the chosen land."
