Kade Price

Major (Official) Commander (Unofficial) (a.k.a. Commander of the Wolfpack)

"Despite the much smaller workforce, he might actually be a bigger threat than the drosden fleet, leopard seal unit, and the empire combined. Dishonorably discharging him was nothing short of a grave mistake, as he was possibly the most talented Major to ever serve the peacekeepers. Certainly, he committed warcrimes, something the politicians higher up have no tolerance for but he's still alive and finding him, hard as it may be, is child's play compared to trying to arrest him." - CPA files

Personal history

Kade is a Linnessian former military general. He grew up on a farm near Lionslair and among other things was well known for his outspoken personality growing up. He cared very little of what others had to say. Growing up as a bit of a hillbilly, his first taste of controversy happened when at the age of 12 he, in an attempt to save his mother, shot a wolf 3 times in the head and 4 times in the body. He was heavily criticized and often even bullied for "murdering an animal". The ends justified the means to him, and he learned very quickly that no matter what he did, he would always be a villain in the eyes of some. The incident had utterly destroyed his desire to be a hero serving the people, instead, he decided that as people would always criticize him no matter what, he no longer wanted to please anyone except those he cared about.   A soldier through and through, Kade grew up idolizing life in the peacemakers, particularly the death angels. Sure enough, he would get what he so much wished for. At the age of 24, he finally passed basic training and was recruited into the death angels 12 years later. Kade lived for the army, and much like a lot of death angels struggled immensely to get by outside the army. The government that had thrown itself into another massive war could barely afford to take care of the ones they relied on most. He developed strong opinions on his superiors, particularly the politicians ultimately calling the shots despite not really understanding what men and women sacrifice daily on the field of war.   Kade rapidly climbed the rank, and had he not made the error of ordering his man to execute a corps of imprisoned drosden pirates, he may very well have become a general. He even commanded some of the most distinguished soldiers to serve the death angels, such as Percy Wright and Albert Kriegzkoppen. But in the Linnessian political climate, any war crime was inexcusable and he was dishonorably discharged despite decades of dedication and sacrifice.    Kade was cast out with no more consideration than a spent shell into a society that saw him as a maniacal, murderous criminal. He struggled immensely to get by, bitter at the higherups that complied with the political demands of cowards to cast him out for what he considered a necessary evil. Many of the men who had served under him felt loyalty to him, especially due to his exceptional talents. He found that there were hundreds of thousands of disillusioned soldiers that echoed his beliefs.   With nowhere else to go and furious at a government that had abandoned him, he turned to the despondent and neglected veterans. He promised things that soldiers wanted like retribution, order, and above all else something to fight for at the command of an experienced military commander. With trained and tested soldiers at his command and years of experience at his fingertips, Kade was ready to begin exacting his revenge on not just the Dracholmian government, but every major faction as in his eyes they had all betrayed their military.   The wolfpack was born, and Kade would attract talent from all armies with a desire for revenge against those who had ejected them like an empty magazine.   A force to be reckoned with, the wolfpack set out to punish the cowardly politicians that had stabbed them in the back as soon as they outlived their usefulness, condemning them to a life of misery and struggle. Kade long suspected that the war was a load of smoke and mirror. Sure, the empire was an immediate threat that 4 of the major factions wanted to take out. But combat between the Dracholmian Union and the drosden fleet was defensive, drawn-out, and costed way more lives than it needed to because politicians were scared to strike a killing blow on their enemies. If Jeslore is to ever see order again, it won't be through armistice, but total, unrelenting annihilation of the enemy, and the wolfpack was up to the task.
