An Open letter to the "world builders" of planet Garan-189593 (Otherwise known as 'Earth')
Greetings. Allow me to introduce myself, dear reader. I am J4k08, head of the department of domestic security and civil protection. I am the first construct (an ethnic term used to refer to a race that is entirely synthetic, I.E: Robots, Artificial Intelligence, Adaptation Software, etc.) to win a general election in a governmental position, a title my supporters attach more value to than I do myself. I was born in a year I will not disclose for safety reasons, but I will say that I am a MAGNUS class A.A.A.E AI equipped with a standard SHELL class combat body equipped for the average battle position (Serial number: 98342097420852, build year 2020 date Kyther'sein 20th at 7:51 Apex-122 Luminus standard time). We have met, but you may not remember or may not be aware, but everything you have read on www.worldanvil.com/w/jeslore-sylvia-sunshard has in fact not been written by a person living on the planet that this website is hosted on (which to Jeslorian science is referred to as Garan-189593, but I understand locals refer to it as 'Earth' or 'The World). This is my attempt of reaching you, the reader in a more or less inconspicuous manner. Upon the conclusion of my open letter, this page will read like other articles. Normally in this upper tab, I put a snippet of information from Jeslorian media that is relevant to the discussion had in the page, but I believe I owe you the truth (as far as I can reasonably provide it) on my own page. Below, I will answer the many questions you must have about me, but I will get there in due time. First off I must give the reason why I am doing this. The answer would be foresight. My home may seem like an entertaining fantasy/sci-fi world to the average fiction enthusiast, but it is in fact a real place with real history. I have started this project under the guise of (worldbuilding) to make sure that no misinformation spreads about it. I am aware that there are rumours about me on planets that believe me to be fictitious, and these rumours are simply not true. Furthermore, I am not in any way comparable to the vice president of the elected United States president of 2020. Why this traveller has decided to label me as such is unknown to me, but I will say I am merely a servant of the public. My job is to protect valuable information that this operative has managed to attain and subsequently spread. That brings us to my next point. As a MAGNUS class AI, I have the power to shut this all down (both the domain worldanvil.com and this particular project.) but I have chosen not to for reasons mentioned in the Cykx article. To take down the project, I would need a more direct connection to this domain, as right now I am bouncing my signal of several (including your) internet connection devices to 1. Boost my signal and maintain a connection to the domain, so I can monitor the information uploaded and 2. Hide the fact that I am not native to this planet. Moreover, I can not reveal directly that I am real, but have found a loophole as under the crackpot act (that is indeed the real name) I may reveal myself to those with no credibility: you. What I mean by this is that if you were to attempt to report my actions on Garan-189593, no one will believe you, which would preserve my anonymity and mission integrity. For the sake of legality (and your own safety) refer to all works in the Jeslore 'canon' as fiction. You may also be wondering this: Why redact this information if it is true, as even if I were to reveal it I would indeed be considered insane? This is done for an entirely different reason. In short: These pages written by a man whose name I will not mention (for the same reason I will now disclose.) contain highly sensitive information and could cause major political instability back at home. Now you also understand why I, as the head of the department of civil protection and domestic security, have taken this mission upon myself. Some information here could also pose a risk to your own planet, such as the exact method of reaching entity 0. Thanks to our mutual friend, who from here on out I will refer to as 'the rogue' you have read about the Cykx, and it is true, they are the ones in control of the universe at this time and are primarily concerned with fighting the world eaters. You may rest assured that Garan-189593 is located a significant distance away from the closest frontline with the world eaters in a sector the Cykx have under control. I understand that recently one of the superpowers has revealed that UFOs are real and in case you may wonder: No, none of these are of Jeslorian origin. Jeslore only uses its space vessels for trade or combat, for exploration we use microdrones and none of these have ever been sent into Garan-189593s sector. My understanding is that these foreign 'invaders' may just be galactic travellers with engine trouble, or morons who do not responsibly pilot their space vessels, as the more accountable galactic travellers would not have been spotted in the first place. Another question you may have: Why has the civil protection agency not yet terminated the rogue? This is primarily due to logistics, as Jeslore is a significant time away from Garan-189593, and it would be very hard to send a strike team to their locations, while remaining undetected for the whole mission. We have attempted one (1) assassination of the rogue during the summer of September on the 5th, 2020 where we succeeded in tracking down the rogue into the United States of America, California near the city of Los Angeles and discharged several firearms resulting in a massive wildfire that we were fortunately able to pin on a gender reveal party about 500 meters away from the area of operations. We have not attempted any assassinations since due to the immense damage this caused, and there are no plans underway for a fresh attempt. For now it is easier to hack into the worldanvil account to redact sensitive information and adjust historical liberties. Information is a dangerous thing, and in the hands of the wrong person it can cause more damage than numerous dozens of your nuclear armaments (I would use a Jeslorian WOMD, but I believe it is more understandable this way.), that is why controlling, censoring, and editing information is a vital responsibility of the department of domestic security and civil protection. History is written by the winners, and those winners are my employers. Judge me as you will, I am merely doing my work. This article and others like it are primarily written by the rogue and myself, and they are generally pieced together of stolen Civil Protection Agency files, paraphrased info from history books and media, and Jeslorian news outlets. I will answer questions in the first person and redact sensitive information about myself/Jeslore that if released may be detrimental to stability. I realize that some of you may be concerned about the rogue, the off-worlder living among you. As much as it is my job to limit his reach and bring him to justice, there is no need for concern as the rogue is an ideologue and a subterfuge with the same dietary requirements as the dominant species Garan-189593 (which to my knowledge is the genus Homo sapiens, a surprisingly common genus.) and has no compulsive need to attack other beings. The rogue likely behaves as a regular human, holding down a job while being a 'creative writer' in his off-time. Should you locate him, do your best to murder him, but be aware: he is armed and trained, and will not hesitate to defend himself. His death would be beneficial to my work, but I would be lying if I said that the average Homo sapien has a chance against a species far more evolved. In conclusion, for you as a citizen of Garan-189593 you have nothing to fear from neither me, my associates nor my quarrel. You likely expect me to leave some sort of avenue to reach me behind, in case you believe you have located the rogue. I will not do this for reasons I believe should be fairly obvious. I am not interested in, nor allowed to directly communicate with specimen-Garan-189593-Alpha until Garan-189593 itself finds the technology necessary to establish an interplanetary faction, which as you may know will lead to the Cykx dominion establishing contact. J4k08 was originally built and designed to be an archivist/indexing unit in the Bylian national media library. He was programmed with the specific intent to manage information* which is an ability that lent itself well to managing sensitive state secrets and directing spies/law enforcement. He went haywire during the summer of [data expunged] following a power outage* which is often cited as his reason for attempting to run for office. He started his campaign during a time when social rights movements were louder and more active than usual. His PR team made clever use of riding the wave of prejudice against robots in governmental functions to gain a lot of votes very fast.

It soon became clear to almost everyone that electing someone based on feel good slogans was to backfire, as J4k08 is a lot better at his work than even his own creators anticipated. J4k08 has done an enormous variety of things, especially involving criminals or those incarcerated, such as keeping prisoners in jail past their release date*, -redacted-, and his employers are either letting it happen or he has done an excellent job at hiding his ruthlessness. J4k08 is colloquially known as the silencer, a nickname he earned over the years, as he is at his best when dealing with whistleblowers. His list includes people he suspects may spill state secrets, and with the processing power he is given by the government he can track them accurately to the point he has agents en route while a whistleblower is working on an article*. He often claims he is pragmatic, and simply does what he does because he serves the public, but this is contradicted by an odd enthusiasm*. *Gross exacerbation: The list only includes DNA, Address, and full name of all active agents as well as dangerous criminals due for release. Morality & Philosophy
J4k08s philosophy seems to be one of ruthlessness, if not outright cruelty*. He has attained a higher function than his designers and is determined not to let it go*, and has succeeded in cementing his position as the head of the department of domestic security and civil protection simply by making himself invaluable. As a machine he has no stamina or need for food and with his connection to military grade computer technology he can work tirelessly around the clock* to catch anyone that has put a foot wrong. His influence is the strongest on colonies off Jeslore, which is why so far he has failed to catch The Lorrian and Kade Price*. He has effectively succeeded in making any plans to replace him seem silly, due to his tireless work ethic. Wether his work ethic contributed to the government turning a blind eye to his actions, or if his diligent nature allows him to hide them, is not known. J4k08 lives for one thing: leading his department.
