Divine Goals & Aspirations

Paladora teaches that the downfall of the mortal soul is it's susceptibility to corruption, and that it's redemption is it's capacity to become the most pure being in the cosmos. Paladora is a harsh God, but is only harsh out of love for mortal kind. Paladora instructs that the mortal soul is the greatest and most precious thing in all of existence and is enraged by the destruction, waste and especially the perversion of Ito's most perfect creation.   It is Paladora's eternal task to teach mortal kind to lead pure lives in life, that they might go on to the afterlife with strong and pure souls, immune to corruption and free from damnation. There are varying ways in which different followers of Paladora interpret her message to maintain purity and how best to remain pure of soul. The unifying beliefs regarding purity of soul adhered to by all worshippers of Paladora come in the form of her two directives.   The first directive that must be followed in order to maintain a pure soul is that a mortal must not allow themselves vulnerable to corruption. A mortal may become susceptible to corruption by lying, promiscuity, and consorting with mortals of impure souls. The second directive is that a mortal must be proactive in strengthening their own selves against corruption by spreading and enforcing Paladora's purity. A mortal may accomplish this by routing out corruption that threatens all of Paladora's beloved mortals and by seeking truth and unveiling deception.   Paladora's relationships with the other Gods are nearly immutable and have changed very little since The Existential Permutation. Paladora is aligned with Rein, God of Integrity, Ahnita, Goddess of Compassion, Prime, God of Civilization and Onus, God of Perseverance. Paladora is diametrically opposed to corruption, deceit and undeath, as a result Paladora dispises Haatiles, God of Ambition one of the Modern GodsLech, God of Depravity, and Blair, Goddess of Fear.
