Occuring when it was revealed that Erathis was dead, and that the church of Erathian Worship had been build on a foundation of lies and deceit, the people of Saltmarsh rose up in protest. Protests that became bloody riots when the temple guard, under Vagner Ravenshield's command, cut a murderous path through the town square.
