The Underdark
Nowch's Underdark reside several kilometers undergrounds is made up of seven defined regions respected by most of its residence. The seven regions are Boetunn, Kemmera, Syphala, Duronn, Il-Lynn, Rideene, and the Expanse.
Boetunn is the largest region in the Underdark massive cavern filled the spiderweb like stone walkways platforms and pillars, populated by all manner of Races and creature its lowest level are mostly home to kobolds and goblins. Its lowest regions are also home to many ruins or either ancient structures once constructed on now collapsed pillars or ancient Underdark communities before a greater acceptance of the surface was found and the civilizations moved closer to the surface.
Kemmera is a small region ma up of mostly underground rivers and towns formed in mined out or natural caves. it is also home to the city of the same name Kemmera capital of the Drow.
Syphala is the second large cavern and is the most biodiverse region of the Underdark having more in common with a jungle the underground. this region is not very populated but is home to Nowch's largest population of Yaun-ti, humanoid snake people.
Duronn is a series of caves, cavern and tunnels that many describe as a hellscape, the ground of the region that has not been developed is completely cover with shard o razor sharp stone. the larger stone stalactite and stalagmite are also covered in the strange deadly rocks.
Il'Lynn is the Region dominated by many Illithid tribes. while many races live here, nearly all are under the thrall of the Illithid. geography it is made up of caverns, where the illythid construct their cities and pyramids, as well as well as vast tunnel, underground lakes, and waterways.
Rideene is the heavily fortified region of the Duregar, dwarves who primarily live and have evolved underground. Descendant of the Dwarves that once heavily populated the Dragon Maw Mountains now they live comfortably and safely away from the conflicts of Dragons and Giants.
Lastly the is the Expanse a region to the north of Kemmera of great mystery. Many tunnels lead to the expanse but are functionally dead ends. the expanse is a massive empty pit with a strange wind pushing out from it strong enough to push one away from the exit. Magical exploration has been attempted but no expedition that broke past the wind barrier magically has ever returned. Based on the tunnels that lead to the Exspanse the common consensus is the it lines up closely with the valley in which Snowbright resides on the surface.
