Kannoth, Crimson Reaper
An archfey in service to the Queen of Air and Darkness, Kannoth is among the capable warriors in the feywild. Once a mortal necromancer, Kannoth has crossed the threshold of death itself to rise as an archfey of the Unseelie Court. He is an ancient creature, and one who has survived centuries because of immense cunning and physical strength. By his hand was the vampiric curse spread amongst peoples of Ithesia, and his accomplishments act as inspiration to countless dark mages. Now, he serves in the Unseelie Court, assisting the Queen of Air and Darkness through her insidious plotting. He is among the most unsavory members in her employ. He seeks power and immortality, an undying kingdom that answers only to him. That has been promised to him by the Queen, but he has also had separate communion with Vedena herself. She has promised to make him her chief knight, who would rule much of their combined kingdom once Asmodeus' conquest is complete.
Kannoth appears as an eight foot tall man with pale white skin, sleek black hair, glowing red eyes and no armor.

Artifacts
Kannoth wields a number of legendary artifacts. His greatsword is Dractheos, the Bloodfane Blade. This weapon absorbs the blood of its victims and channels it into Kannoth, replenishing his health and thus allowing him to syphon power from his victims. He also wields a legendary scythe, known as Amroth, the Soul Reaper. This weapon strikes at the very souls of his opponents, syphoning their magic into him and allowing him to use it. It is basically a prototype version of The Blighted Heart with some notable drawbacks. It can't draw the entire soul of its victims, only a portion.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
Kannoth's holy symbol is an iron ring, with a greatsword and scythe crossed within it.

Personal history
Kannoth was born in the year 783 B.S. He originally hails from Andusia, where he was a minor nobleman. When war broke out, he fought on the frontline with the people of his house, watching as his forces were gradually slaughtered in a war of attrition. Ever since then, he has been disgusted with the permanence of death. He is a very ambitious man, and in that moment there was placed the ambition for an eternal kingdom. A kingdom where death was a thing of the past, a kingdom that would never fall. A kingdom he would rule. From that moment, he set that goal in his sight and followed it.
In his search for immortality, he soon encountered dark magic. Being a higher source of magic that arcane, and unguided by the whims of the gods, it seemed the perfect tool to achieve his gains. Kannoth was no scholar of magic, so he employed an infamous necromancer as his court wizard: Vecna. For years he worked, until he was finally able to achieve a semblance of his goal. Using dark magic, Vecna discovered a way to maintain the body using the blood of others. It was a magic of the blood, an infusion of the essence of life with vile dark magic, but it sufficed. As a side effect, such potent blood gave its host a wide array of additional abilities. In this way, vampirism entered the world. In this way, Kannoth's eyes were opened to the power held within blood. He opened the gates to his castle and launched a conquest across the continent of Andusia. He brought before him countless captives, whose lives he slew, preserving their lifeblood within his own personal sword. From the year 741 B.S to the year 632 B.S, Kannoth would rule as tyrant over northern Andusia, expanding his empire and his reign of undeath. All of this time, he set Vecna researching a more permanent solution for death, a solution that did not require a constant replenishment with blood. Unfortunately for him, Vecna succeeded.
In these times, Vecna discovered the secret to Lichdom. The act of binding ones soul outside of their body so that their spirit might live on forever. The trouble was, this was an art workable only by the most powerful of mages, and Vecna wasn't keen on sharing. He abandoned Kannoth, leaving him without the knowledge of how to further his necromantic ambitions. In the fear that Kannoth would pursue him, Vecna cast a deadly curse over Kannoth's empire, dooming it to fall. A decade later, it did. And with his empire, a great many vampires were slain, leaving only a mere handful of the number they once boasted. Kannoth would flee Andusia, traveling Ithesia and the planes beyond in search of a method to take revenge against Vecna. He was contacted in his dreams by Vedena, and bid to have an audience with the Lady of Dark herself. He journeyed long to reach her, finally coming face to face with her vessel in the shadowfell. In this communion, he pledged himself to her service, seeing the enormous potential held by such an agreement. At her bidding, her grasped the wayward souls wandering this realm, forging from their essence a scythe to carve off the souls of others.
He then shifted to the feywild, becoming a hunter of fey. Queen Titania tried for years to put him down, but he was ever ahead of her agents. After a time, he ascended to the level of Archfey, bonding himself with the dark forests to the north of winter. He has since worked behind the scenes to prepare the way for Vedena's chosen agent. When the Night Diamond was finally claimed by Alesnae, he was instantly at her side to swear fealty as her fist knight. Since then, he has served the Queen of Air and Darkness because if she claims the feywild, that will be a huge boon to the betrayers. And thus will he win his eternal kingdom. He has done much for her, resurrecting wraiths of past heroes as knights in her service. And for this he is not entirely trusted, for of her followers his strength is the greatest.
