The Feywild
The feywild is a mirror of the material plane. In ages past, when the world was first formed, the feywild was the home of the gods as newborns. It is extremely magical and volatile, built for the purpose of entertaining young deities. It was once an echo of Ithesia, with geography that mirrored it almost exactly. When the gods retreated from the feywild, taking up residence in the upper planes or among the mortals of the material plane, the feywild became home to other powerful beings. The feywild is overflowing with magic, which in turn causes its inhabitants to be more powerful than those of the material plane. The innate magic of the feywild sticks to them, granting them abilities beyond those of mortals.
The most powerful inhabitants of the feywild are the archfey, godlike entities on a slightly lower level to that of true gods. The first of the archfey were the children of true gods, gods who did not possess enough power to form a true their offspring into a true god. These are known as eldest and are revered in the feywild, for most of them have been alive since well before the great scourge. Examples of these Archfey include Queen Titania, monarch of arcadia and Lord Oberon of the Glade. The other archfey were once regular fey who rose to attain immense power. Due to the nature of the feywild, it is far easier for one to become an archfey than it is for one to become a god. The Queen of Air and Darkness is an example of such an archfey.
The feywild is constantly shifting, influenced by magical currents and fey. At one time it was almost identical to the material plane, time has made them only barely recognizable as related. It is divided into four domains, with a different season conquering each domain. These being the domains of spring, summer, autumn and winter. The fey who live there are often chaotic, free willed spirits that harbor little ill intent but are dangerous just the same.

Geography
Every bit of the feywild appears as the material plane only exaggerated to an extreme degree. Plants grow more vigorously, and are odd colors. It is always dawn, every single minute of every day. The forests are overgrown and constantly engulfed in mist. Natural landmarks appear far more extreme and distance itself can be warped. Apart from this, however, it resembles the material plane, only far more magical.
