Mister Charalampos Mihail Megalos
Charalampos Megalos is a secondary character of the story "A Knight's Legacy", an original fantasy story by . He is the official owner of the Poli Apothecary on paper, although he actually co-owns the apothecary with his wife, Helena. Most of his "employees" at the apothecary are his children with Helena — Agape and Akakios. Charalampos also has another child — Calanthe — with his wife, although she no longer works at the apothecary.
Personality
Charalampos is a cheerful, optimistic, and gentle individual. He cares greatly about his family, pets, and friends. His affection is said to even extend to the garden of herbs he keeps behind the apothecary where he works. He maintains a positive outlook on life no matter what the world throws at him.
History
Charalampos was born in Atril to merchant-class parents. His parents — Petros Megalos and Myrto Megalos nee Floros — made a living as apothecaries, and they expected Charalampos to keep up the family business. When a devestating fire took their home and shop in 1281 AF, Charalampos, Petros, Myrto, and Charalampos' new wife Helena decided to pack up and immigrate to Strolk in Skayton so that they could better utilize their skills in a more populated area.
Petros died of cancer before their family reached Strolk. Myrto died in an accident involving a scared horse only two years after her husband. Charalampos was left to start up the family business with no one but his wife to help him. Despite these trials, Charalampos retained his positive outlook on life. This positive outlook only increased when Helena discovered she was pregnant with their first child — Calanthe. Soon after Calanthe's birth, Helena's parents, sister, and brother-in-law came to Strolk.
