Oracles are divine spellcasters who do not choose the divine fate placed upon their shoulders. Their powers come to them spontaneously and are often accompanied by sudden visions and uncomfortable abilities, and equally, their powers come with a horrible curse.
They are typically caused by the interference of deities with the mortal realms, used as vessels through which gods may deliver punishment or information. Some nations, like the Medimian Empire, stigmatise oracles due to their untrustworthy origins.
