Smell of Sambucus "Sam" is a half-Tabaxi/half-Leonin male, currently working as a volunteer at the Humane Society of the Isles of Edren and former member of The Road Sabers.

Personal history
Sam grew in the Longclaw Pride, but being the only Mixed Race (half-leonin/half-tabaxi), he always felt like an outcast. As he got older, he left the pride to join The Road Sabers motorcycle gang. Sam was heavily involved for 25 years, being involved in a variety of illegal and nefarious activities. Sam eventually left the gang after a 'patch', or member in training, was killed when a deal went wrong. Sam blamed the gang's Vice President and left the gang.
Finding himself in a position where he needed to do more to help others, and having some cash saved, Sam ended up volunteering to work at the Humane Society of the Isles of Edren. Sam quickly took to the job, finding it a rewarding opportunity to help animals in need.

- Very much the 'tough guy' who has a 'soft spot', especially for those who can't fight back on their own.
- In general, is really mean and gruff to most people, except to those he has affection for.
- Gentler to women or those who appear weak. Maybe a bit shovenistic, but more so he has had very negative interactions with males as a whole.
- Believes in doing what is right from a more universal standpoint, thinks many laws though don't need to be adhered to as tightly.
