Located across the westward ocean, The Isles of Edren have been isolated from the outside world. Composed of 9 islands, the region has a diverse and rich culture. Whether you're a fisherman from Wappi, a shipbuilder from Plok, or a necromancer from Sadall, all are important and valued members of society. Edren holds the pursuit of magical knowledge above all else, and believes that nothing is beyond their reach. This pursuit has created two very powerful factions, the Mages and the Engineers. The Mages are those who pursue further magical knowledge using the Schools of Magic, testing the limits to reveal long lost secrets and untapped sources of power. The Engineers seek knowledge through more 'modern' means, focusing their energy on inventions, gadgets, and creations that better the lives of the citizens of Edren. These different approaches however have historically led to some conflicts, and thus some mediators were needed, the Arbiters and the Goblin Federations. The Arbiters are the Isles' police force, mediating and settling disputes between the two factions. The Goblins have used business to gain power, establishing trade, transport, mining, and banking throughout the Isles, which keeps everyone unified and at peace. With each island having its own purpose and function, it's difficult to not find a place where you'll fit in. Whether you pursue the arcane with the Mages, the path of science and artificer-y with the Engineers, or maybe even a path free of the factions and the politics, the Isles of Edren offer a path for anyone.   Your adventures will begin at the local newspaper, the Edren Editorial. The Classified Section, run by Oliver Commonbrook, offers a wide range of opportunities to adventurers. Help bolster a faction, boost a guild, or buff a citizen; the possibilities for coin are endless.
