Triad Abbey - Coldwind Bay

The Triad Abbey is located on a thin stretch of land jutting out from the cliffs on the north side of Coldwind Bay. It was used as a monastic training center for clerical followers of the Pantheon Triad. It has been abandoned for years and in many areas has fallen to ruin. There are signs there was a battle here at one time.
The former abbey is normally uninhabited, but has generated its share of legends and superstitions as to who or what now dwells there.

Purpose / Function

Monastic center for training new clerics in the various The Triad Pantheon faiths.

Design

The abbey has a central, 4-story keep that was at one time surrounded by crenellated walls and a handful of outer buildings and chambers. Most of these chambers are now open to the air in some places, and none any longer have doors. 
The central keep is rectangular, and at one time contained 6 separate rooms.

Sensory & Appearance

The interior rooms of the abbey are open air, and smell only of sea air and disuse.

Denizens

There are no longer any permanent residents of the Triad Abbey, but over time numerous parties have claimed the ruins as their home, sanctuary, or base of operations.
