Once the characters have acquired the Ruby Fish, it should be a relatively straightforward task to return to the boat and give the fish to the antiquarian who hired the characters. In the Fortunebound Campaign Setting, this antiquarian is based in Fortunebound City. For your own setting, this antiquarian can be located in whichever city or town to which you wish the characters to return.
The characters will be rewarded by the antiquarian with 500gp for their efforts.
Behind the Shadows
While all of the scenarios released in this series are self-contained and can be used as stand-alone 'one-shots' or intermixed with scenarios of your own, they are also built to easily flow from one to the next in sequential order.
In the next scenario, the characters will find themselves thrown into a conflict between two factions in a large, urban environment. While trying to find solutions and prevent an all out war on the streets, third and fourth parties will become involved and ancient secrets will begin to be revealed.
Behind the Shadows will be an adventure scenario for 4-6 characters of levels 3-5 and will be published in late May, 2021.
