Sister Rivers Region

Now mostly a vast wilderness of forests, swamps, hills and lakes, the Sister Rivers Region is the term used to broadly describe the lands of many rivers and streams, all of which drain into Dragon’s Claw Sea. Long ago the vast Ronra Empire controlled these lands. When a serious of floods brought forth unstoppable plagues rumors spread of deceit and sabotage which eventually led the empire into civil war. When the fighting finally stopped over a hundred years later much of the populace was either slain by violence or terrible disease. The empire was on the verge of collapse. One short year later the Red Tide swept through the land. What remained of the people was quickly overcome. By the time the Elves of Aber came to aid the people against the Red Tide, it was too late. Very few survived those dark times. 370 years later, the land is still mostly desolate, though there are still some populations of men. Most of these are located in a few cities along the coastline which were spared the worst of the fighting due to one reason or another. The only exception are the countries of men adjacent to Aber, which were saved by the Elves of Aber.

Here are the now ruined lands of the once great Ronra Empire. The land is now wild, dangerous, and filled with the hauntings of evil deeds
