Greenbriar scrambles to explore the ruins on Gudrun.

The awakening of the Slyth facilities on planet brought with it tremendous potential for technological advancement. Exploration teams were assembled and sent between various Slyth ruins on planet, scouring them for lore, technology, and answers as to what befell their progenitors.   Several examples of such technology were returned, backpack powered laser rifles, auto-calibrating snipers, disc grenades, and even a style of personal shielding that can stabilize a downed victim. Most of the devices are still being analyzed by colonial technicians.   Jexad was found in the easternmost ruin, and a large Helldiver force was dispatched to prevent the colonial expedition from leaving with their valuable new captive. Silvano and Seung, along with assistance from Task Force Phoenix, held off a determined assault, destroying several aircraft and pieces of heavy armor.   The Helldivers would again contest the seizure of the last two installations on planet, requiring a combined Taros Confederacy and Greenbriar force to rout them. Doona Ahn in particular gained a great deal of fame among the Taros Medical Corps for the heroic measures she employed to save lives during the battle.
