Befriending Vapormills

Vapormills, a Taros city, is discovered.

Brethan Allemond first made contact with soldiery from Vapormills while scouting land west of the colony. A Vapormills scout patrol had been ambushed by Helldiver, and his assistance in locating either the survivors, or their bodies was enlisted.   He agreed, eventually finding them after tracking signs of their passing through the woods, enduring harsh weather all the while.   Their leader, Executor Dorlin, arrived once the bodies were found, wishing to personally thank the human that had assisted her people so professionally. This meeting created the contact for the cities to entreat with one another.   Dorlin, Kincaid, and a handful of colony notables met, exchanging information about settlements, the planet, and the aspirations each side had. Finding their goals aligned largely, plans were drawn up for a trade agreement, a connecting rail line, and mutual military support, as the Underhill and Helldivers remained very active threats.   This arrangement would get its first invocation soon, as colonial marshals descended on Taros lands to assist in curtailing the transport of the drug Trance.
