The Psychic Academy takes their new flagship to raid a secret deep space research facility held by The Still Lady. The Soul Cage is recovered, after a fierce fight.

The Erudition, the carrier in service to the Psychic Academy, departed Gudrun mid October 2668. The arcane guidance system was connected a route oracle taken from the Lady in a previous military action against her. Knowledge pried from her own mind revealed that the Soul Cage being kept there was an artifact the Academy could use to end her threat and trap her essence forever.   A week of travel saw the Erudition slip into the system. It was detected just a few moments before it rammed the facility in its commercial docks. The fighting between Regulus Fate, Venser Reach, Eisheru Tidecaller, Svenka Vilhnova, Hailey Clements, Rey Messi and the endless elite soldiers in service to the Still Lady was fierce.   Numerous heavy weapons were used as two platoons of phantoms were fought off almost single handedly, along with a pair of spellcasters who identified as her handmaidens.   The station mainframe was located, and hacked - allowing access to an intelligence office a floor above where the artifact was located.   A counter boarding assault on the Erudition was driven back at great cost of Academy security personnel, and the survivors were able to extract with the relic.   It is currently being held at Khmarna Metaspace Research Institute until such time as the assault on Rana is ready to launch.
