Balvarine

Carnivore
First encountered by Jaxon Ryder in the forests east of the Greenbriar, Gudrun. The Balvarine is a highly aggressive animal now known to attack on sight. It is an apex predator and is commonly traveling alone, though during mating season it can be seen in a small pack along with its seasonal mate, and their few offspring.
There has been some evidence of patriarchal cannibalism, where the male is seen eating any young that come out sickly or runty.
A shadow MES expression of a Balvarine was once encountered by Einer Stjerne in March 2668, though it seems to be the only of its kind thus far.
