The Emerald Hollow

The Emerald Hollow is a magically hidden area left abandoned during The End Times by The Silmeirans. The maze of trees that surround it is similar to other places that had been inhabited by The Silmeirans.

The Hollow as it's commonly called is an area that once entered into, sinks down into the ground around 300ft. Large Synethar Trees grows all the way up to the jungle ground level and creates a roofed canopy that covers the area. The "green" hue that's created is believed to have been the reason for the name "Emerald Hollow".
The Synethar Trees share similar leaves to the smaller, Greensayer Trees and when viewed from above, it blends itself very well with the surrounding jungles. A powerful form of magic is believed to have been casted by Elven Goddess Laer to repel beasts and creatures who may unwillingly step into the areas as a means to prevent The Hollow being taken over. This was exceptionally important as she cared for the preservation of a lot of the beauty left in Sersinara when the The Silmeirans chose to abandon it. It's not exactly clear to what extent the magic protects The Hollow.

Since 440 AE, it has been the home to a community called "The Greensingers" who sought shelter from the harsh jungle landscape of Sersinara. It's believed the original Greensingers happened upon it by chance that a melody had drawn them away from danger. A melody that is still sang by the residents today, "The Green Song". The Hollow has mostly been ruled by a small council of members known as "The Thorn Knights", each holding various districts.
The head of The Thorn Knights is currently Zilvio Maze who was born in The Hollow from one of the original descendants of The Greensingers, Alice Maze. Since the founding, they have been an incredibly peaceful community, establishing small various hidden trade routes that have expanded to select merchants in Iromendia. There very existence is kept as hidden as possible. The community often send "Green Scouts" to venture into the lands of Sersinara.

Appearance in Tale of Two Sisters

The Emerald Hollow was introduced in Tale of Two Sisters: Episode 09 - The Travelling Twins when Mivli Xanaer, rescued by The Crimson Companions led to them to a sanctuary deep in the Sersinara jungles to rest. As a token of gratitude, provided The Crimson Companions and escaped prisoners with food and living arrangements within the haven.
