The Atakoro Tree

The Atakoro Tree is the oldest tree that exists in Akōra, it's also believed to be the oldest tree in Nijina. It was said, according to myth that when the first settlers of Akōra had come to its shore to settle a town, they started by planting a seedling of a tree from a distant land.
In other historical texts, it's believed to be a gift from Hineraiin Kingdom, a peace offering to the new settlers and is said to be a sprout from The World Tree that grows in Airalya.

Special Uses

They say it’s magical, when an Akio passes, their names disappear into the tree and their soul passes through Atakoro to their divine gods they believe in. A soul passing this way, is sacred and protected and cannot be hindered by any other forces. Many Akio go on to become guards of The Nenrai, others go far and seek treasures across the lands of Iromendia.
