The Nenrai

The Nenrai are the primary militia of Akōra, they are housed in a special district close to the Mirauvai Family home. The Nenrai have protected the family for generations, failure to protect in the death of a family member is treason to the cause and one must commit their own death. Though not entirely established by the ruling power the Nenrai adopted the rite themselves to prove their commitment. Since then the family has always given the Nenrai improved living arrangements in payment for their loyal servitude.
Ak-Nenrai is the commanding title and also serves as The Master of Arms for Akōra. The current Ak-Nenrai, is Veneshi.
