Scene: Facing yourself
Artemis wants to achieve some things:
Find and reconcile with elven Artemis.
Find and establish her changeling roots
Artemis Moonflower and the party hear music playing through their arrival in Marakesh. Here they see Daerel, a female moon elf appearing exactly as Artemis playing in front of a crowd.
If the party does not show themselves, she will continue playing until interferred by a thief stealing her coin hat on the ground. If the party watches, she will cast polymorph on the guy to stop him and take her money back
If she sees artemis she will call out after a moment of confusion "Madeline..?" And wants to reconcile. If she runs artemis will yell a please I want to talk!
After a lengthy conversation at any local tavern, catching up to the travels and experiences of them both. Artemis tells her the following:
"I have done my research, asked around, but your kind is too elusive to find. Even through nefarious means, they'll refuse anything that's not a direct hit on someone. Perhaps something devious could still be set up to gain contact.
Through my research I found out that Beory used to be quite fond of your kind. Before her disappearance, she was frequently followed by shapeling people. Perhaps, she would be able to assist you?
Simply praying won't be enough I'm afraid, she hasn't responded to any prayers for a while now from what I've heard. Perhaps you should visit her holy site?"
If they finish Scene: Rot and decay, bloom and blossoming, Beory will offer to build her holy city in this location with Shapelings as their main people and offer it as a safe haven for all of them. Furthermore, she will locate two larger populations of Shapelings. One in Marakesh, and one in Orest.
