Manpower

Mouzuran are elite orginizations that tend to operate in groups ranging between one hundered and three hundered strong.

Equipment

Mouzuran use heavy Adamantine weapons, shields, and lightweight Mithral armor to shear through defensise and allwo an adaptable defensive posture.

Weaponry

Mouzuran are equiped with Druchaia spears, Heavy or even Tower shields, Shortswords, Handaxes, and Crossbows.

Vehicles

Mouzuran deploy from a Reaver fleet during raids on coastal cities or when an enemy ships runs aground.

Structure

Mouzuran answer to a Commander who gives orders before departure, each Mouzuran is expected to follow these orders as the Commander adapts their plans on the fly, shouting code words in Elven to quickly change tactics or objectives during their fights.

Tactics

Mouzuran are adept at sieges and close quarters combat, using their large Adamantine shields to defend against cavalry, charges, and ranged weaponry. their shields are often adorned with a spear hole to form a spear-shield wall, where the Mouzuran then use their secondary weapons to attack any who attempt to get close to the wall. A variant of this Tactic is used if the Mouzuran are aware of cavalry ahead of time, brining tower shields to lock in place, and then heavy shields to lock on top to halt the first charge. ifthe first charge falters the sheild is then unlocked and used in defense as the Mouzuran slashes with their secondary weapon, allowing the tower shield and locked spear to prevent them being trampled.

Training

Mouzuran are trained specalists that operate in conjunction with Reaver fleets to assault cities. A Mouzuran squadron never leavs the Cities of Ravan unless they are heading to siege a city or defend one.

Logistical Support

Mouzuran operate with the support of their defending cities, or a Glacial Shipyard during the siege of an opposing city. a number of Reaver ships offer fire support during Mouzuran attacks.

Upkeep

Mouzuran are expensive to train and arm, using mithral armor for flexible and lightweight mobility, and adamantine weapons and shields to adaptability and deadliness. Noble Houses have been known to spend small fortunes arming Mouzuran squads.

Recruitment

Mouzuran are chosen to become Mouzuran upon birth, to ensure propper training throughout their lives. their rank, and stature in life is beaten into them from the moment they learn to walk and talk. Mouzuran are carefully trained from this moment on, never knowing anything other than the life of a Mouzuran.

History

Mouzuran soldiers were born of necessity as the Ward began to offer a safe haven against Reaver ships. from time to time it became necessary for Reavers to go inland to wage war, something they quickly foundthemselves ill prepared for as these attempts were often heavy with losses even if the raid was victorious. Heavily armored soliders were hired and used for a time but their inability to operate as individual units aside the Reavers more chaotic style of fighting made them ineffective at best. thus the Mouzuran formation was born, specalized squadrons designed with a specific goal in mind. for a time Mouzuran soldiers were trained only as "city kilelrs" hence the name, but their training evolved with each loss. when Mouzuran troops were outpaced by the quicker elves near Mythnara, their armor was exchanged to Mithral to allow faster manuverability, and again when Mouzuran troops were trampled by cavalry, the double shield-speer wall was created, along with Adamantine shields to prevent a cavalry charge from over taking them again.

Mouzuran are loyal to whichever house they are groomed in, often bearing their House Insignia along their wargear.
