General Physical Condition

Aurelion was considered physically weak, never tested in combat and never expected to lead on the front lines. Aurelion spent most of his days in study.

Identifying Characteristics

Aurelion had the great Phoenix wings tattooed upon his back, assuming his role to lead Sya'Nau from the ashes of Tamalth's wrath to new heights.

Apparel & Accessories

Aurelion often wore his fathers battle armor to council meetings, despite never being involved in combat himself he fancied himself a warrior king.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Aurelion inherited the title of King from his father before his fortieth winter. When Eladan's sacrifice rending Tamalth's sanity making him hero and martyr Aurelion was under great pressure to live to the expectations of his great father. When confronted by the Dwarves harvesting timber from their sacred groves Aurelion sought glory before diplomacy, sending Dark Elf warriors into battle without hesitation. unlike his father however, Aurelion pressed his warriors further into Dwarven territory, into the Old Kingdom itself in an attempt to bitter the taste of war forever. instead, the Elves were caught in a long and bitter war that could not be won. for centuries the Dark Elf warrior caste were sent to their deaths in Dwarven caves, and any Dwarven retaliation was met by the Wood Elf guardians. with neither side gaining advantage in the war, the elves grew weary of Aurelions aggressions. Aurelion pressed the Green Dragons to aid in his conquest of the Dwarves, but when they denied him the king ordered their dens to be burned. it became a sad tradition for High Elves to hunt green Dragons for a time, but with the aid of the Wood Elves many clutches were saved and hidden away. Aurelion nearly lost the support of the High Elves as well when naming himself a Prophet of the World Spirit, though with the aid of the seers council they were convinced of the legitimacy. the other castes were not convinced however. now without support from the Dark Elves or the Wood Elves Aurelions war raged until his death at the hands of Rauva Zaphresz. The Dark Elf matriarch had tried diplomacy for years, until she was denied audiance with the king. when the Dark Elf voice was silenced, they retaliated and demanded freedom from the shackles of their caste system. this led to the Dark Elf sojourn into the Ruins of the Underkingdom , which they were now familiar with thanks to Aurelions Warmongering. After Aurelions death, the Elves ceased aggressions into Dwarven lands though the tensions raged for centuries after.

Sexuality

Aurelion married and sired three daughters with his wife Yesphine. desperate for a male heir to his throne, Aurelion also took on a number of concubines, though there are no lasting records of any children by these women.

Education

Aurelion was educated by the priests of the High Elves, as well as the numerous diplomates his father had trusted.

Employment

Aurelion was the only child of Eladan, and was the heir to the throne before ascending to power shortly before his 41st birthday.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Aurelion was inadvertently responsible for the caste systems dissolution, as well as the Wood Elves close relation ship with the Green Dragons for so many generations.

Failures & Embarrassments

Aurelion's rule is regarded poorly by the Wood Elves and Dark Elves, even many High Elves regard the young kings goals to be foolish and short sighted.

Mental Trauma

Aurelion came into power far too young, and was under constant pressure from the priests of the High Elves to live up to Eladan's legacy. Fearful he could never live to the accomplishments of his father, Aurelion instigated conflict in hopes of fabricating a legacy of his own.

Intellectual Characteristics

Despite being short of temper and insight, Aurelion was a surprisingly apt general. when the Dwarves pushed back into Sya'Nau the kings strategies involving both Dark and Wood elf forces quickly repelled the invaders. Aurelion's hand at diplomacy however, was lacking. constantly speaking down to the other Elven castes, Aurelion saw them as inferior rather than pillars of the kingdom.

Morality & Philosophy

Aurelion sought glory and a mark on history, at any cost. Dark Elf lives were wasted in his vainglorious attempts to etch his name into history.
