Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Records of Amnul before his ascension to Lichdom are scattered and fragmented, though its safe to say the Mage wasn't physically impressive as he relied mostly on his magic.
Body Features
Amnul's corpse was a withered skeletal figure with pallid flesh stretched over jutting bones. The Ebon Blight he'd use to transform into a Lich ravaging his living boy before becoming undead.
Facial Features
Over the years Amnul's Flesh would rot away, revealing a skeletal grin and gleaming white bone.
Special abilities
Amnul held unparalleled knowledge of the Ley Lines as he ripped the secrets from Mythlys mind, and the Well of Secrets. Amnul developed a number of Spells that only he could replicate, such as summoning the Star of Annihilation without the aid of the Summoning Relic, or Warping reality to create partially real environments. a favored tactic of Amnul was to warp his environment deep into space where his magic and undead traits would protect him from oblivion while his opponents were often caught off guard.
Specialized Equipment
Amnul carried a number of powerful relics with him at all times, Chains of Black Iron to which he'd imprisioned four Demons to animate the chains.
Amnul also carried a Crown crafted from Dragons fangs which allowed him to tap into the natural magic of dragons to bend the elements to his will.

Personal history
Amnul rose to power by using his powerful magic to bind together a number of lesser holds and towns into his rule offering them protection and prosperity with his magic should they pledge fealty. by using an army of undead to protect their boarders Amnul was able to provide a level of growth and education that has yet to be matched by any other kingdom since Amnul's era. Amnul expanded his grasp over most of Southern Argantus before nearly every human settlement had bowed to his will, those who defied him were crushed and subjected. As Amnul's lust for power drove him to further expand the empire and to experiment more and more with Magic and how to twist it to his will, Amnul eventually developed the process of how to become a Lich, tossing aside his mortality as a weakness. Amnul would rise four other powerful Mages who considered his inner circle, his first students, to Lichdom as well, before launching a massive assault on the northern part of Argantus, laying waste to the few opposing settlements who had not joined with the Khoven, and the Dwarves who offered them protection. for four hundred Years Amnul waged war upon Argantus, twisting a number of unholy artifacts to his purpose and developing dreadful spells that left the ladn scarred for eons to come. Near the time of Mythlys Tear passing nearby the Sun, Amnul retreated suddenly from the Empire, taking his closest servants with him leaving the Empire fractured and leaderless. Amnul had retreated to his Vault, the Shadowhalls, to further his research into the nature of the Divine, stealing a number of Angels and Chosen Champions to extract their Divine Essence. Amnul would resume his plot for ascension over the centuries, slowly aquiring more and more divine essence to store in a Sepulcher deep within the Phylactery Vault where his Inner Circles souls were stored to prevent rebellion. during the Long Night, Amnul attempted to use his stores of Divine Essence to seize control of the Ley Lines, and ascend beyond even a God in the process. The Ascendants assaulted the Shadowhall to seize control of the Sepulcher, and slay his Inner circle drawing the Ire of the Archlich. sometime later Amnul would use his powers to transport the Ascendants to the Fell in an attempt to slay the interlopers and reclaim his lost divine Essence. though he was destroyed and has not been seen or heard from since, his Phylactery was never found. If Amnul's Phylactery survived the Long Night, it's possible the Archlich may return to resume his plots for infinite power.
Education
Amnul sold his soul to the Archfiends of Baathos in return for knowledge of the Arcane, to which Amnul always intended to escape his fate in the end seeking further power from those who would not train him before. Amnul was instructed by the Dragon, Damori, in the Ways of magic, before Amnul imprisoned the Dragon and his clutch of eggs to power the magic that held the great Gate of Khoven together despite its massive size. Amnul later would use the Well of Secrets to obtain knowledge of how to steal Mythlys Divine Essence, imprisoning the Goddess of magic within the Shadowhall.
Employment
Amnul served as the First and Last Emperor of Khoven, forging the Empire from a number of settlements and small cities to forge what some consider to be the greatest empire in history rivaling even that of the Dragons.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Amnul would go on to create a number of rituals and spells that are still used to this day evem, such as the process of becoming a Lich, the earth scorching Fireball, and constructing Ataraxia.
Before invading Northern Argantus, Amnul had a massive Wall constructed to prevent a counter attack from reaching to deep into his lands, the Gate of Khoven was huge, stretching nearly 100 miles across the land, and nearly a whole mile into the sky. held together with adamantium support beams, and the magic of an entrapped Elder Wyrm, and its clutch of dragon eggs the wall was never breached during the Endless War.
Amnul severed his spirit from his body to escape a fate of endless torment in the Pits of the Nine Hells, hiding away his spirit before the forces of Hell could claim their payment.
Failures & Embarrassments
Although not a failure in Amnul's Eyes, he did allow the Khoven Empire to fall to ruin as he retreated into the Shadowhall to resume his research into the Divine Essence, the Empire had served its purposes, and when Amnuls desires shifted, he no longer had need of the Empire.
Mental Trauma
Amnul is with out a doubt one of the most powerful Mages to ever walk the Multiverse, though his paranoia and envy of the Gods and archfiends led Amnul to make a number of questionable choices such as severing his own soul from his body to escape death, and allowing his massive empire to crumble and fail.
Intellectual Characteristics
Amnul was perhaps the only creature to escape a Deal with the Pits of Baathos, striking a Deal with the Archfiend Mephistopheles that upon his demise Amnul would be bound into the Service of hell. using his powers to quickly bind together an Empire, and research the nature of life and death in an attempt to escape his fate Amnul discovered the Method of Lichdom, forever ageless, and beyond the reach of death so long as his Phylactery remained intact and hidden.

Amnul was willing to sacrifice billions to serve his selfish goals of immortality and endless power, sacrificing a thousands of his own citizens souls to create his kingdom and army before assaulting Argantus for more Souls.

Amnul desired above all else, power, he held no real desire to rule, he simply wished to survive forever and be the most powerful aspect of himself he could be.

Amnul had very little patience for Social gatherings, he spoke his mind, and spoke it often as he was well aware of his power. Often considered rude by his students, though they never dared to speak this to him directly.
