The Divine Pantheon of the Gods
The beating heart of the Communion of the Nine, the Divine Pantheon of the Gods is the centrepiece of worship to the Ascended Gods. It is a colossal building, dominating the skyline for miles, sitting on the top of a large hill, above the city of Tastrum below. It houses nine giant temples which themselves would be impressive structures, as well as the Eternal House.
The Eternal House is the resident home of the Holy Prophet, also affectionately referred to as "The Summit", as it is positioned above the rest of the Pantheon. Within this section is the Red Room, where the Holy Prophet is able to directly communicate with the Gods.
Purpose / Function
The Divine Pantheon carries out many purposes for the faith. It is one of the most awe-inspiring structures of Iqos, with few monuments matching the raw scale and splendour of the greatest temple in the known world.
However, it's primary purpose is that it houses the Holy Prophet and the Speakers. They all have their own temple where they can organise their section of the faith, as well as convene easily to co-ordinate the broader objectives and plans of the Church.
