Rhonnonr

Basic Information

Anatomy

Tall, broad shouldered humanoids with long hair/beard and short tusks, the Rhonnonr are truly a sight to behold for anyone unfamiliar with them. Rhonnonr do not have the longest beards like their Thjan ancestors, not do they posses the largest tusks like an Ohruk, but this middle ground that they have found seems more than enough for the people of Eastern Orhindur.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Possessing the enhanced dark vision of the Thjan seems to eliminated the Ohruk weakness to light in the Rhonnonr, granting the Rhonnonr the legacy of the 'Stone Eyes' of the Thjan. Additionally, the Rhonnonr seem to have an enhanced sense of smell, potentially from their Ohruk ancestors, which allows them to track creatures via scent easier.

Civilization and Culture

History

A merging of the Thjan and the Ohruk, the Rhonnonr come in all shapes and sizes, though are most often taller than humans and much bulkier than they are. The Rhonnonr were born when Ohruk tribes fled from Ahuduir and settled on Eastern Orhindur, in the lands of the Klarth Thjan. These two groups found that they had a lot in common culturally and, while other lands collapses and cultures were reduced to more base existences, the Ohruk and Thjan of Eastern Orhindur unified into a new culture, the Rhonnonr. This name would ultimately be shared with their half-breed offspring, a new peoples for a new age. If it were not for the long standing divisions between various Klarth Thjan cities, the Rhonnonr might have created a nation to rival that of Aion's Dominion, though it was not to be. Instead, half a dozen nations have sprung up over the centuries, using their maritime power to grow rich on trade and to rent mercenaries to the highest bidder.
