Ifriti (If-ree-tea)
Basic Information
Anatomy
Humanoid creatures resembling various ancestries, mostly Human, Telurai and Ohruk, the Ifriti posses flame-like hair, in both pigmentation and behaviour, as it seems to dance like the flames of a fire. Some posses horns on their brow, though nothing compared to the Tieflings, and can posses a wide array of skin pigmentation and texture. Most individuals have either pale, ash-white skin with various hardened clusters of black flesh or darker charcoal-hued scales with small channels of smouldering embers, though some have been seen with skin the colour of polished brass. Whatever the skin pigmentation or texture, most all Ifriti are resistant to fire and find themselves capable of calling upon the flames to serve them. It should also be noted that the Ifriti have cat-like eyes which allow them to see in the dark, though this often makes others feel like they have an otherworldly appearance.
Genetics and Reproduction
Ifriti tend to reproduce at the same rate as humans, with a ~9 month gestation period, though sometimes this can be altered depending on their ancestry.
Growth Rate & Stages
Ifriti grow at a much slower rate than humans, with them being full maturity at 60 years old, though most young Ifriti tend to go off and start their own lives around the ages of 45-50.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Despite their natural ability to manipulate flame, the Ifriti do not always use it when traveling through the darker areas of the Ashlands, instead relying upon their unusual eyes to see, which grants them the ability to see in the dark.
