Introduction

Kaiessa Isoviya is the third and current First Councillor (493 AGL - present) of The Lavennic Communal Republics, originally having been elected as a Councillor in The Communal Assembly representing her birth province of Scavaal in 485 AGL. A prodigious ecologist and highly regarded orator, Kaiessa has dedicated her career to restoring Lavenna's still wounded ecosystems.

Premiership

During her premiership, her main focuses have been on ecologic restoration, sustainability, multiculturalism, and the stabilisation of the nation's communal economy. She has so far been successful at finally transitioning the nation from its long and arduous war reconstruction towards an era of environmental renaissance, thanks to her ambitious reforestation, agroforestry, agro-pollination, legacy tech integration, and comprehensive biosphere restoration initiatives, among many others.

Early Life

Kaiessa was born to a poor Matroshki family in the war-torn and ecologically devastated city of Scalvost, where the Seriphanese occupation was particularly brutal. While still a young child, her parents daringly took her and her siblings and fled southward, arriving as exhausted immigrants in the multicultural melting pot city of Levalda. While the Seriphanese occupation there was equally oppressive and brutal, the city retained its timeless renown as a safe-haven and refuge for the downtrodden, and conditions were generally more amenable. In her own words, she remembers arriving to the city "wide eyed, stunned by that jewled mosaic of cultures beckoning to me from those glittering hillsides."
Living in cramped communal barracks in the vibrant Riverefuge district of Levalda, she spent most of her time helping her father in the agroponic communal gardens, where she gained a deep admiration for nature. She learned Fleuraçais from fellow botantical labourers and slowly began to integrate into the local culture.
The Continental War was an everpresent, looming shadow upon their lives. The distant patter of gunfire from the rolling countryside and from the labyrinthine streets became background noise as she worked in the gardens, her younger siblings nearby playing peacefully, unaware as to the horrors those sounds signified.

Though she has never directly confirmed her religious affiliation, it is likely that she is a follower of Universalism.

Isoviya has a distinct Loisantaine accent, which contributes to her empassioned oratory abilities, while also aiding her charismatic charm.
