The Way Ahead
As the year 2100 arrives the world is beginning to enter a new age, with hope for everyone. The dark years and corporate wars are behind us now. We thank those who walked the razor’s edge for exposing and fighting for the rights of all the oppressed people.
A worldwide effort to clean up the hot zones and bring life back to our planet from the horrors of the last century is well underway.
As technology races forward, so does the human capacity for hope and service. With new technologies to help grow food and automated plants, there is no shortage of food. Energy is free too, and most people can live now to find their own passion and follow their dreams. A world government is set up to mediate between the countries, but otherwise, it lets those countries govern themselves in peace. In 2120 all militaries are transferred to the world authority. This new government is called The New Earth Government or EarthGov for short.
The first intergalactic ship is completed in 2122. The ship designations are EGN (Earth Galactic Navy).
In 2123 the Earth Ship New Hope begins its first hyper-jump trials. It was during these tests that we met the Cilarie, a wise alien race. Talks continue for 2 years as the two species seek common ground. Now we have safe hyper-jump engines. Cilarie and Earthlings sign treaties; we share our food technology with the cilarie, and they give us gravity for our ships and tools to help with our astrogation. The two races became friends, and soon we were both seeing immigrants from each other’s worlds.
In 2129, a new element Naranium was discovered on Io, a moon of Jupiter. This element aids in the cleanup of hot zones and is also found to be an excellent material to help protect our starships from the harshness of space.
The two races grew together and became fast friends. The two worlds spend years exploring and colonizing together. Never had the human race known such peace. No one alive at the turn of the new millennium had ever experienced real war.
Corporations again begin to grow and become dominant as their offices are now located off-world and outside Earth government control.
2153 Rodinium was discovered and is much harder than diamond. There are currently 10 one trillion-dollar companies.
The earth government to evolve and stay forward-thinking moves to allow corporations more autonomy as the peoples of earth begin working on different worlds under companies where earth law is undefined.
2170 The two allies are able to avert war between the Grig, and Lirara. The two new races meet to ratify the formation of a small alliance. Simply called the “Alliance. The cilarie join and are happy to see their work complete.
The Takonians seeing the alliance as a threat launched surprise attacks in 2180. Attacking many worlds owned by the various races of the alliance. The cilarie homeworld is decimated and bombed into a ball of dust. Then the Takonians turned their attention toward the Grig. The Grig fought hard but finally drove the invaders off their world at the Battle of Vraps. Their world was stripped by the Takonians before they left.
The alliance drove the Takonians out of the Grig system. After 7 years of bloodshed, the Takonians were pushed back to only a few worlds, and they then sewed for peace.
A new race was freed from Takonian, the Dilandri. They are a humanoid race.
In 2196, scientists noticed unusual activity in Earth’s sun and alerted the people of Earth that they must be off the earth in the next 30 years. Earth begins packing. Earth is abandoned, and 4 billion people are moved safely to 3 planets in the Aviron sector. They have time to take their stuff and save many of Earth’s creatures. Their three new worlds are Elduria a vibrant and fertile planet with lots of water; Aviron a world similar to Earth, but the geography is very plain; the 3rd system SH-1842 is rich with natural resources. This new sector of space, sector 907 or the Aviron Sector is further from the Takon Empire, giving the earthlings time to rebuild.
In 2261, the Tribari reveal themselves to the alliance, and they begin trading with the alliance. The first human telepaths are discovered. Population growth increases to 2.5 billion people on each of the Central World. Outer Worlds settled reaches 11 worlds, Colony worlds reach another 5, with a few dozen civilian unregistered colonies.
Today
If you use Prolog two, your core worlds are well established, and everyone has a sense of hope and worth. Almost everyone from Earth was saved, and that makes everyone feel good about the direction they are headed as s species. They have a belief in their place in the galaxy. You have 3 core worlds several outer worlds and several more colony worlds in and around the Aviron Sector. Children today never saw the earth, and this is the only home they know, their grandparents talk about the earth, and maybe their parents remember it as well. Your group will be working for any number of companies exploring or handling problems. The Tribari are friends with the alliance but not yet members. This will be an opportunity for them to see their potential allies in action.

The military: EAAC is Earth Army Air Corp (Military branch Army and Airforce) and EGN is the Earth Galactic Navy (Military branch Navy).
