Kaseibeiut

Kaseibeiut was a collection of three solar systems relatively close together on the star charts, close enough that it would take both reactor and Inkallu powered ships mere months to arrive, instead of the years and centuries which normally separated systems. They never contained any resource-rich nor habitable planets, and only served as an unnecessary rest stop on the trip to and from Otanli. Of course, non of that is relevant as all three systems were completely destroyed and disintegrated during the Battle of Kaseibeiut.

Geography

The areas formerly inhabited by these three star-systems have been reduced to naught more than space-dust.

History

Kaseibeiut was ignored by the Makassi of Laran in their initial expansion off their homeworld, as they had no need to colonize new planets. THey were stealing an interstellar empire from a precursor race that had pulled them out of their pre-space flight civilization, so had no need to waste their time with three systems sparse in resources, whose only usage would have been as a place to test weapons. And Lati much prefer live test subjects anway. THe only notable event to ever occur was the Battle of Kaseibeiut.
