This small town used to be a bustling mining town before the old iron mine dried up. Now the people survive here mostly on hunting, trapping, and foraging. The old caves and mining tunnels in The Jagged Peaks mountains actually supply some very valuable healing herbs that the village now uses as their primary export to the rest of the Vulanti Empire. The village has shrunk over the years since the mine dried up, but the population has plateaued rather than dropping off completely. There has even been some new farmers and homesteaders recently, but not as many as they used to get.
The village is often thought of as the sister village to Maplefield, but the two aren’t nearly as linked as Springhill & Razortree.
