The Galton Institute

A secret, underground research facility that experiments on people with disabilities, genetic conditions, and other deviancies (including homosexuals, trans people, etc.), aka 'undesirables', in attempts to 'cure' their afflictions and avoid such conditions in the future.

History

The Galton Institute was one of several facilities built for the purpose of eugenics research. The many disabled people being made casteless and isolated from the rest of society were becoming a problem. The Sloane administration was involved in their founding, and subsequent administrations continued to invest in them. Galton was the first to open and was named for Sir. Francis Galton, the man who coined the word 'eugenics' in the first place.
