George was raised by a father who was a strong believer of the Revolution. His mother died when he was two, and his father, a small business owner, remarried a much younger woman less than a year later. The two failed to have any more children (though not for lack of trying), but since George's father already had his heir, he let it pass.
When George came of age he started working in his father's business and eventually took over, when his father got sick. He married Violet Fitzsimmons at twenty-eight, and the two had two children, Carter and Imogen, only a year apart. Carter was George's pride and joy, and ended up an 8, one better than his parents. Imogen was a plain girl and George never bothered much with her.
