Raziel, Hand of Light

Raziel, Hand of Light was the leader of the Betrayer Gods and the god of the sun, light, and cleansing. They most often appeared in the form of an androgynous shape created entirely of light with a pair of wings and a golden spear.
Raziel was responsible for violence against mortalkind long before the abandonment, when they attacked the Hominifolk for their theft of fire. The Hominifolk were protected by Dusk, Shrouded Vanguard, in an event that has come to be known as The Refuge.
As the story goes, Dusk and Raziel were close friends and confidants at the beginning of all things, but as creation went and mortals began to form societies, Raziel grew increasingly cynical, and Dusk grew increasingly enamored. It is this dynamic that would lead to the crux of the Abandonment, the split between the Protector Gods and the Betrayer Gods.

Abandonment

Raziel led the Betrayer Gods coldly and with precision, using Levottomuus, the Shadow Wolf and Kozilek, Butcher of Truth as their weapons to cut swaths through the mortals. It wasn't until the The Bifurcation of Alklha that Raziel themself descended and began to attack.

Death

After the destruction of Knackery, Dusk challenged Raziel to settle things, claiming that the mortals did not deserve to suffer for conflicts that belonged to gods alone. Raziel accepted the challenge and the two gods did battle in the skies above Albietha. Raziel slew Dusk and then began to weep, coming to know that they had slain their oldest friend. It was then that a collection of mortals approached Raziel. The god declared that their time was over, and did not resist when the mortals beheaded them.
