Personal history

Born to an aristocratic lineage in the Bavarian Wohld, Manfred Klinnsman's life was forever changed when he discovered a vault of Precursor tech within the heart of the Black Forest. Feeding his innate curiosity, Klinnsman spent years in the vault learning its secrets and attaining mastery of Precursor scientific knowledge.
His studies eventually led him to seek out the Four Heroes and afterward he became their companion and adviser on Precursor history and science. During this time Klinnsman developed a self-aware cyborg consciousness named Primus intended to do battle with XHAN the Destroyer, though the plans were never executed. The European chroniclers indicate that Klinnsman was at The Battle of New York, but nothing is known from continental sources thereafter.
In Merika, however, it is widely known that after the Fall of Princes Manfred Klinnsman stayed in the west to aid in the growth and development of the newly liberated Merikan Confederacy led by President Marcus. During this time Dr. Klinnsman conducted a botanical field expedition cataloguing the unique flora and fauna of the Northern Continent. In the course of these travels Klinnsman's exploits were frequently reported in the Merikan press and the doctor became a well known figure in popular Merikan life.
After the overthrow of the Marcus Presidency by technoclast rebels, however, Klinnsman secretly fled north with his granddaughter to Canada, where he established a Technomancers' Academy within the island city-state enclave of Montreal.
In 997 PCE both Jimmy Nails and Janov Seldon ventured to Montreal in search of Klinnsman by way of Nehark and Halifax.
