Technoclasm

This term describes the beliefs of someone who seeks to destroy scientific knowledge and technology.
During the Post-Cataclysmic Era there has been a common belief that unfettered scientific progress led to the Cataclysm itself. For this reason technoclast attitudes have persisted for centuries.
