Brightmoon

This small county in northern England is part of the larger dukedom of York. The traditional rulership of Brightmoon has fallen to the control of the Mayfield family. The last Lord of Brightmoon, Lord Harold Mayfield has not been seen in Britannia since the Four Heroes left for the western continent to begin the final phase of the War of Princes. Since the end of the War of the Phoenix, Harold's daughter Corinna Mayfield has asserted her right to the unclaimed county against the Duke of York, Lord Hungerford, who would rather void the Mayfield claim and usurp Brightmoon into his own direct fiefdoms.
